It’s good news for Leona Lewis fans, as the X Factor champion has seemingly been working on a big dance track. The 31-year-old Londoner has been in the studio with Swedish DJ Alesso, working on brand new material.
The producer confirmed the news on Twitter last night, also revealing that the writing session involved Autumn Rowe. For those of you not familiar with Autumn, she’s an American singer-songwriter who previously worked with Leona on her Avicii dance anthem ‘Collide’.
It will be the first new material from Leona Lewis since the release of her fifth studio album I Am back in September 2015.
The British star recently embarked on a headline tour of the UK in support of the album, while also travelling across America to promote it. Leona has also put her own spin on Elton John’s famous ballad ‘Your Song’ for a new tourism campaign.
Alesso, meanwhile, has had four Top 10 singles in the UK over the past few years, including 2014’s ‘Heroes’, featuring Tove Lo.
The DJ’s latest single, ‘I Wanna Know’, features Nico & Vinz and is out now
