It feels like it was yesterday when Leona released her sophomore album, the iconic “Echo”. Today we celebrate 4 years since its release back in 2009.

“Echo” was an album full of amazingly produced tracks in which Leona evolved, going from an R&B/Pop album to a more Pop oriented collection of songs with more strings and heavy sounds, but always keeping that unique (in my opinion) essence of hers. Leona worked with increible producers and songwritters like Ryan Tedder, Max Martin, Julian Bunetta, Jhon Shanks, Novel, Justin Timberlake, among others that captured an amazing atmosphere that you can easily feel when you listen to the whole album, its like her most dramatic (soundwise) album shes ever done and I’m sure a favourite from a lot of fans. “Echo” was a success in the UK being Leona’s second #1 album in the official charts and a moderate hit in the US hitting #13 in the Billboard 200 charts. Leona has sold aproximately 2 million copies* worldwide of “Echo”. This album was full of hits in our opinion; songs like “Outta my Head”, “My Hands”, “Broken”. “Can’t Breathe” were all single worthy tracks that never saw the light of day; now that its been 4 years since its release we are proud to say that even with having only two singles out, “Echo” was an iconic album and a masterpiece that will always be remembered and listened to!. As per usual we made a playlist with the most notable performances of the “Echo” era, including some of the ones she did during “The Labyrinth Tour”. Enjoy
