Leona Lewis as an amazing artist and human being experienced that feeling, as she attended the 2014 Be Beautiful Be Yourself DC Gala that the Global Down Syndrome Foundation celebrated yesterday, at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC – USA. Leona performed a set of songs and looked so happy while dancing and sharing with some of the special kids that suffer from this disorder. As always (and being this our specialty) we’ve brought you a lot of photos of the event and the red carpet *Exclusively*, and in amazing quality. Just click on the thumbnails bellow to see them all!.

Leona Lewis has become the first British female solo artist to score eight UK Top 5 singles.
Her latest track, One More Sleep, may have narrowly missed landing at number one on Sunday but it’s entry into the Top 5 had nonetheless made the former X Factor contestant a record breaker. Which means Leona has more than enough reason to celebrate this Christmas, now that she officially has more Top 5 hits than any other British female solo act in history.
“The support from my fans has been tremendous,” Leona told OfficialCharts.com. “”I could not do this without them!”
The songstress first made an impact on the charts with her debut single A Moment Like This. Her follow-up, Bleeding Love, sold over a million copies, making it one of the UK’s biggest singles of all time. One More Sleep is taken from Leona’s latest album, Christmas With Love, which features classic Crimbo covers together with new material.

It feels like it was yesterday when Leona released her sophomore album, the iconic “Echo”. Today we celebrate 4 years since its release back in 2009.
“Echo” was an album full of amazingly produced tracks in which Leona evolved, going from an R&B/Pop album to a more Pop oriented collection of songs with more strings and heavy sounds, but always keeping that unique (in my opinion) essence of hers. Leona worked with increible producers and songwritters like Ryan Tedder, Max Martin, Julian Bunetta, Jhon Shanks, Novel, Justin Timberlake, among others that captured an amazing atmosphere that you can easily feel when you listen to the whole album, its like her most dramatic (soundwise) album shes ever done and I’m sure a favourite from a lot of fans. “Echo” was a success in the UK being Leona’s second #1 album in the official charts and a moderate hit in the US hitting #13 in the Billboard 200 charts. Leona has sold aproximately 2 million copies* worldwide of “Echo”. This album was full of hits in our opinion; songs like “Outta my Head”, “My Hands”, “Broken”. “Can’t Breathe” were all single worthy tracks that never saw the light of day; now that its been 4 years since its release we are proud to say that even with having only two singles out, “Echo” was an iconic album and a masterpiece that will always be remembered and listened to!. As per usual we made a playlist with the most notable performances of the “Echo” era, including some of the ones she did during “The Labyrinth Tour”. Enjoy
If you want more information about “Echo” make sure you visit our Discography page in wich you’ll get more details about this amazing album.
Leona Lewis will perform at London’s Regent Street Christmas lights switch-on.
The 28-year-old singer will take to the stage on November 9 where she is expected to be performing songs from her new album ‘Christmas, With Love’ which will be released on December 2.
The album contains classic Christmas tracks such as ‘O Holy Night’ and ‘Silent Night’ in addition to three original tracks including, ‘One More Sleep’ which the star has teased online.
The former ‘X Factor’ contestant will be joined by Eliza Doolittle, while Emma Bunton and Jamie Theakston will host the festive event and the iconic lights will be switched on by ‘Modern Family’ star Ty Burrell and Hollywood film director Rob Minkoff.
Leona is hoping to spread ”Christmas cheer” with her collection of festive tracks.
The ‘Bleeding Love’ hitmaker – who had a Christmas UK number one with her 2006 single ‘A Moment Like This’ – is looking forward to performing the Motown inspired tracks during the holiday season.
She previously said: ”I cannot wait to get out there this Christmas and perform these songs. I had such fun recording this record and that really comes through in the songs. I am looking forward to spreading a little Christmas cheer!”

We’re always expecting new music from Leona, and for our surprise we got a new track this morning!. BBC Radio 2 Ken Bruce’s show, played a new cover of the 60’s Motown/R&B hit “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”, by Michael Bolton featuring Leona Lewis!. We suppose this track will be included on Bolton’s UK version of his latest album entitled the same as the song, since he already released that discographic material in the US and Australia (earlier this year), and this same cover is sang by Kelly Rowland and Delta Goodrem respectively. Leona’s vocals are AMAZING on the track!! If this is the way she will sound on her new christmas album, we know for sure it’ll be a HIT! Listen to it on the player bellow:

Thanks to Leona Lewis Brasil for this great news and the audio file!
