Hey Guys! Leona’s publicity agency, Dawbell has published an article about Leona’s latest single ‘Lovebird’. They finally confirmed the official release date of the single for the UK and Ireland region and also revealed the official Artwork for it. This is what they published earlier today:

Following the huge success of her third studio album ‘Glassheart’ last month, Leona Lewis releases a brand new single on December 3rd.

A stand out track on the album, ‘Lovebird’ is an epic, timeless love anthem that showcases Leona’s spectacular voice at its very best.

The track is the second single to be taken from the accomplished and passionate album ‘Glassheart’, which stormed the Top 3 upon its release in October. An inspired, intimate record that saw the global superstar laying her emotions bare, ‘Glassheart’ cemented Leona’s position as one of the greatest vocalists of her generation.

Recorded over the last two years between Denver, London and Los Angeles with executive producer Fraser T Smith, it received rave reviews following its release with Metro describing it as “an immaculate, high-gloss third LP”. The Sun described it as “a bold and accomplished effort” while the Daily Mirror predicted ‘Glassheart’ would ensure “Leona’s shatterproof standing is set to continue.”

As well as Fraser, the album also saw Leona working with some of the best songwriters and producers around, including: Emeli Sandé, Naughty Boy, Ina Wroldsen, Bonnie McKee, Jörgen Elofsson, Ryan Tedder, Autumn Rowe, Ammo and Rodney Jerkins.

Written by Bonnie McKee (Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Taio Cruz, Rita Ora), Joshua Coleman and Lukasz Gottwald, ‘Lovebird’ quickly became a standout track for fans when ‘Glassheart’ was released, and is a firm favourite of Leona’s.

Hey Guys! Finally some great news about Leona’s new single! As we informed before ‘Glassheart’ will be released this month in some European countries, including Spain. Well, just a few days before the release in Spain, The official Sony Music site for that country has confirmed that not only Glassheart will be released there next week, but that the lead single to promote the album there will be ‘Lovebird’ and that the music video of the song will be online in December! Such great news cause that means we probably will also watch the video next month! This is a little translation/adaption that I did to the article wich was written in spanish (obviously lol)

LEONA LEWIS, ONE OF THE MOST CHARISMATIC AND RESPECTED VOICES OF THE GLOBAL POP, ANNOUNCES HER NEW ALBUM ‘GLASSHEART’ WHICH WILL BE OUT ON NOVEMBER 27

Leona Lewis has published the music video for Trouble a song that can be described as a “gothic pop masterpiece’.

The official first single from the album will be LoveBird and it will be out next week.

Seven years after her first appearance on the pop scene and after selling 20 million albums and singles, Leona Lewis announces the release of her new album Glassheart. The britain artist has decided to find herself in Glassheart. An epic, progressive and intimate but surprisingly pop album at the same time. Different and unexpected, Glassheart will hit Spanish stores next 27th of November. Trouble is one of the main songs of the album. Described as a “gothic pop masterpiece’, the song reflects Leona’s amazing voice, which is capable of reaching a wide range of nuances, from the ethereal to the more energetic, without forgetting the creation of intimate moments with her interpretive sensibility. Troube has been written by Emeli Sandé, Naughty Boy, Craze and Hoax, Fraset T Smith and Leona Lewis herself.

The official single from the album will be LoveBird. A track that, although respected the global identity of the album, comes close to that hit (Bleeding Love) that defined Leona Lewis’s metaphoric career, seven years ago. The single will be out next week in digital format and its music video will see the light of the day in December.

If there’s something that differentiated Leona Lewis from the rest of the contemporary artists since the release of her debut album Spirit and her second album Echo, was that innate capability of creating ‘instant classics’ with the innovation that only an artist like Leona Lewis can provide to music. In that way, Glassheart goes one step further. “I’ve put my heart and soul into it. It’s the record I’ve always wanted to make. It’s raw, emotional and progressive. I can’t wait to share it with the whole world.” Leona said. And in fact Glassheart is an innovator pop piece and in some kind of way, unique.

Leona Lewis’s version of Rihanna’s global hit ‘We Found Love’ isn’t a club anthem, according to Calvin Harris.

The producer – who wrote the song – revealed that each version is completely different and described Lewis’s version as “an X Factor ballad”.

Asked which version of ‘We Found Love’ he preferred, Harris told Kiss FM: “Erm, they’re very different because [Leona] sings it dead softly, you know, how Leona sings.”

He added: “It’s more like an X Factor ballad.”

The DJ revealed that he still has a copy of Lewis’s ‘We Found Love’, adding: “The only people that have got it are me and Leona Lewis.”

Leona Lewis chats to Ahlan! ahead of her appearance at the Chequered Flag Ball in Abu Dhabi

You’ve been to the UAE before. What are your favourite memories from visiting?
Yes, I’ve been on holiday a few times to Dubai and I’ve also been to Doha, but this will be my first time in Abu Dhabi. I really like the mix of tradition and modernism. It’s really intriguing.

You rose to fame after winning X Factor. Do you still watch the show?
It’s a great show and I owe a lot to it so I’m always going to be a fan, but I’ve changed a lot since the show. I’ve really developed and matured as an artist.

Are you dating at the moment? Give us all the juicy deets!
All I’m saying is that my weekend at the F1 is going to be a girly affair – a real chance to let my hair down with the girls and enjoy myself for a few days after what’s been a really hectic album launch.

Any words for your fans in the UAE?
Just to say that I can’t wait to see you all at the Chequered Flag Ball on 2 November. I love the glamour of F1 and everything that goes with it so I’m really looking forward to what the F1 weekend in Abu Dhabi has to offer.

INFO: 7.30pm to 3am, Friday 2 November, St Regis Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, Dhs2,000 per person including bubbly reception, four-course dinner and open bar, Dhs20,000 for a classic table of 10, Dhs25,000 for a VIP table of 10, 04 445 6842, www.chequeredflagball.com.

The Labyrinth Tour 2010

IT’S been five years in the making but Leona Lewis is finally planning to tour America.

The singer was supposed to support Christina Aguilera in the US on her 2010 Bionic tour but the gigs were cancelled.

But LeLe told me plans are now finally in motion to showcase her amazing vocal talents to her US fans.

She said: “I’m going to tour the US some time next year.

“I was supposed to support Christina Aguilera but it fell through, so we will see if we can do something like that another time.

“I’ve never toured over there so I can’t wait.”

Leona’s critically acclaimed new album Glassheart looks likely to chart at No2 today.

But despite missing out on the top spot the star seemed happy enough, giving the thumbs up to the paps while out on Friday night.

OfficialCharts.com caught up with Leona Lewis to get the low-down on her new album, Glassheart.

Since winning the X Factor in 2006, Leona Lewis has gone on to be not just one of the UK’s biggest selling chart stars – 13 Official Singles Chart Top 40 hits (including three Number 1s) and two Official Albums Chart Number 1 albums – but a global star, too.

OfficialCharts.com caught up with Leona last week to get the low-down on her new album, Glassheart, which looks set to be one of the big new entries on Sunday’s Official Albums Chart.

Leona talks about what it was like to collaborate with rising British star Emeli Sande on the album, where the title came from, and she also reveals her favourite tracks from Glassheart (well, this week at least).
