Hey Guys! Leona’s publicity agency, Dawbell has published an article about Leona’s latest single ‘Lovebird’. They finally confirmed the official release date of the single for the UK and Ireland region and also revealed the official Artwork for it. This is what they published earlier today:

Following the huge success of her third studio album ‘Glassheart’ last month, Leona Lewis releases a brand new single on December 3rd.

A stand out track on the album, ‘Lovebird’ is an epic, timeless love anthem that showcases Leona’s spectacular voice at its very best.

The track is the second single to be taken from the accomplished and passionate album ‘Glassheart’, which stormed the Top 3 upon its release in October. An inspired, intimate record that saw the global superstar laying her emotions bare, ‘Glassheart’ cemented Leona’s position as one of the greatest vocalists of her generation.

Recorded over the last two years between Denver, London and Los Angeles with executive producer Fraser T Smith, it received rave reviews following its release with Metro describing it as “an immaculate, high-gloss third LP”. The Sun described it as “a bold and accomplished effort” while the Daily Mirror predicted ‘Glassheart’ would ensure “Leona’s shatterproof standing is set to continue.”

As well as Fraser, the album also saw Leona working with some of the best songwriters and producers around, including: Emeli Sandé, Naughty Boy, Ina Wroldsen, Bonnie McKee, Jörgen Elofsson, Ryan Tedder, Autumn Rowe, Ammo and Rodney Jerkins.

Written by Bonnie McKee (Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Taio Cruz, Rita Ora), Joshua Coleman and Lukasz Gottwald, ‘Lovebird’ quickly became a standout track for fans when ‘Glassheart’ was released, and is a firm favourite of Leona’s.

Hey Guys! Finally some great news about Leona’s new single! As we informed before ‘Glassheart’ will be released this month in some European countries, including Spain. Well, just a few days before the release in Spain, The official Sony Music site for that country has confirmed that not only Glassheart will be released there next week, but that the lead single to promote the album there will be ‘Lovebird’ and that the music video of the song will be online in December! Such great news cause that means we probably will also watch the video next month! This is a little translation/adaption that I did to the article wich was written in spanish (obviously lol)

LEONA LEWIS, ONE OF THE MOST CHARISMATIC AND RESPECTED VOICES OF THE GLOBAL POP, ANNOUNCES HER NEW ALBUM ‘GLASSHEART’ WHICH WILL BE OUT ON NOVEMBER 27

Leona Lewis has published the music video for Trouble a song that can be described as a “gothic pop masterpiece’.

The official first single from the album will be LoveBird and it will be out next week.

Seven years after her first appearance on the pop scene and after selling 20 million albums and singles, Leona Lewis announces the release of her new album Glassheart. The britain artist has decided to find herself in Glassheart. An epic, progressive and intimate but surprisingly pop album at the same time. Different and unexpected, Glassheart will hit Spanish stores next 27th of November. Trouble is one of the main songs of the album. Described as a “gothic pop masterpiece’, the song reflects Leona’s amazing voice, which is capable of reaching a wide range of nuances, from the ethereal to the more energetic, without forgetting the creation of intimate moments with her interpretive sensibility. Troube has been written by Emeli Sandé, Naughty Boy, Craze and Hoax, Fraset T Smith and Leona Lewis herself.

The official single from the album will be LoveBird. A track that, although respected the global identity of the album, comes close to that hit (Bleeding Love) that defined Leona Lewis’s metaphoric career, seven years ago. The single will be out next week in digital format and its music video will see the light of the day in December.

If there’s something that differentiated Leona Lewis from the rest of the contemporary artists since the release of her debut album Spirit and her second album Echo, was that innate capability of creating ‘instant classics’ with the innovation that only an artist like Leona Lewis can provide to music. In that way, Glassheart goes one step further. “I’ve put my heart and soul into it. It’s the record I’ve always wanted to make. It’s raw, emotional and progressive. I can’t wait to share it with the whole world.” Leona said. And in fact Glassheart is an innovator pop piece and in some kind of way, unique.
